From a New York Times supplement tracing the rise of then-Senator Barack Obama to a Harvard book about the creative survival strategies of people in Cold War–era Burma, from a multidisciplinary reimagination of how physicians can qualitatively understand pain to a dark romantasy novel in which Lucifer learns to love, there are always delicious new ideas at my desk.

And that’s why I love my work: New research. New policy solutions. New stories. Powerful new reminders of the creative power and resilience of the human spirit.

I lovingly sand down those ideas so they are expressed in the punchiest, most evocative ways possible.
